00 Status & founder notes

Where this stands

The brand and product story are complete and ready to use. What gates the marquee accounts is the paperwork — and a few claims worth pressure-testing before they reach an engineer.

✅ Ready to use now

Positioning, product spec, pricing, key features, competitive framing, messaging bank, and objection handling are complete and verified. You can sell to small and mid-size general contractors today.

⛔ Blocking accreditation

Business registration, TIN, BIR, permits, warranty terms, and contact details are unfilled. Tier-1 contractors (Megawide, DMCI, EEI, MDC, DDT) cannot accredit BoxHouse until these exist.

Founder's notes — read before going to market

01 The "minutes" claim is the biggest credibility risk

The buyers are site engineers and procurement officers who have positioned cranes and commissioned electrical themselves. The unfold is genuinely minutes — but crane placement, leveling, and electrical commissioning realistically run to same-day. "Delivered and operational in minutes" invites a technical buyer to discount the whole pitch. Recommendation: lead with "assembled in minutes, commissioned and handed over the same day." Still a decisive advantage over days-to-weeks of stick-built — and a claim an engineer nods at instead of challenging. This means revising Brand Rule #1.

02 "All-in, no hidden costs" + free MM delivery is a margin trap unless floored

Units land through the China Import channel (FX-exposed), plus a boom truck and crew per deployment. A peso swing or a far-corner Metro Manila site can erase margin on a fixed ₱130,000. Keep quotation validity short (≤30 days), set a hard floor on volume pricing, and cap the free-delivery radius inside "Metro Manila" beyond which a surcharge applies.

03 The path to the named Tier-1 accounts runs entirely through the registration pack

Megawide, DMCI, EEI, MDC, and DDT will not accredit a supplier without SEC/DTI, TIN, mayor's permit, BIR, and warranty terms. Until those exist, BoxHouse can sell to smaller GCs but is locked out of the marquee targets. This is the critical path; everything else is already done.

Open items to launch-ready

  • Register the business (SEC or DTI); secure TIN + BIR registration.
  • Obtain Mayor's / Business permit (record permit no. + issuing LGU).
  • Lock registered address + warehouse / operations address.
  • Define and document warranty terms — recommended defaults in §13.
  • Confirm commercial terms: payment, lead time, quotation validity — recommended defaults in §12.
  • Add contact details — phone, email, website, socials (§19).
  • Commission priority photography — hero, interior, 3-stage process, boom-truck lift, warehouse, install team (§17).
  • Produce remaining deliverables — quotation template, 1-page flyer, accreditation pack (§18).

08 Installation process

Folded transport to operational office

Stage 1

Folded transport

The unit ships in a compact folded configuration — reducing transport footprint, simplifying access to constrained sites, and enabling efficient delivery by boom truck.

Stage 2

Expansion on site

On arrival, the unit is positioned and expanded into full structural form. Walls, roof, and floor are deployed and secured, then leveled and prepared for commissioning.

Stage 3

Operational office

The electrical package is commissioned, fittings verified, and the unit handed over as a finished, fully functional office ready for immediate occupancy.

Site coordination

Deployment is scheduled with the client's site team to align with access windows, ground conditions, and mobilization sequencing. Site requirements are confirmed in advance so deployment proceeds without delay.

Core argument — use this framing

Traditional construction treats the site office as a disposable, project-specific expense. BoxHouse PH treats it as a deployable, reusable capital asset — faster mobilization, predictable cost, consistent quality, and retained value across a contractor's entire project portfolio.

11 Operational capabilities

Warehouse to handover, in-house

What we control in-house
  • Warehouse facilities — unit storage, staging, and ready inventory for rapid dispatch
  • Delivery equipment & boom trucks — transport and on-site positioning, including constrained access
  • Crane-lift placement — units placed into confined, elevated, or congested positions
  • Dedicated installation teams — on-site expansion, leveling, and electrical commissioning
  • Contractor-led operations — personnel with direct construction-industry experience
  • Site deployment personnel — trained handover team confirming positioning and functionality
Why this matters

We control the full chain from warehouse to operational handover. That's what lets us commit to timelines and support clients running multiple concurrent sites.

Value proposition · for decks & proposals

Traditional site-office construction diverts labor, consumes schedule, and produces a structure that's demolished at closeout. BoxHouse PH offers a structurally different approach: a foldable prefab unit that arrives on site, is assembled in minutes, and serves as a reusable capital asset across your entire project portfolio — at a fixed price with no surprises.

16 Objection handling

For sales conversations & proposals

Open the objection playbook
ObjectionResponse
"It's just a container van"It is not a container van. It is a purpose-built foldable prefab structure — insulated wall panels, sealed waterproof roof, integrated electrical, PVC flooring, steel frame — engineered for repeated deployment.
"We can build a site office cheaper"Factor in labor diverted from your primary scope, days of schedule consumed, inconsistent quality, and a structure demolished at closeout. Our unit is ₱130,000 all-in, reusable across projects, and operational in minutes.
"Will it survive a typhoon?"Engineered to withstand strong winds, seismic activity, and heavy rain. The waterproofing uses physical sealing (not adhesives), so it holds integrity through repeated folding and transport.
"We need it outside Metro Manila"We deliver beyond MM by separate quotation. Provide the site address and we will quote delivery.
"We want to pick it up ourselves"That is an option. Where you collect from our warehouse and handle installation, the price is negotiable.
"Can we try one first?"Absolutely. Order a single unit for your next project. Once you see the deployment speed and quality, scale to multi-unit orders with volume pricing.
"Is your company accredited?"We are prepared to complete your supplier registration and accreditation process — business registration, tax documents, product specs, warranty terms, and all supporting documentation your procurement team requires.

20 Rules for anyone working on this brand

Ten non-negotiables

Never say "1 day" for installation. It's "minutes." The unit is foldable and assembles in minutes. (See Founder's Note 01 — consider revising to "same-day commissioning.")
Never call it a container van. It is a foldable prefab unit.
Never use startup language. No "disrupting," "reimagining," or "game-changing."
Never name Megawide, DMCI, EEI, MDC, or DDT Konstract as clients unless a signed contract or completed project exists. We position as ready to serve and be accredited — not as having already done so.
Never invent certifications. Only list credentials the company actually holds.
Never invent project history. Do not reference completed projects that do not exist.
Always include the self-collection option when discussing pricing. If the client picks up and installs, the price is negotiable.
Always position the unit as a reusable capital asset, not a temporary expense. This is the core commercial argument.
Always include "earthquake-resistant" and "weather-resistant" in any features list. Verified engineering claims and major differentiators.
Price is ₱130,000 all-in within Metro Manila. Do not quote a different number without management approval.
